Finally, given question 3, once I put get these files to iCloud and then to my MacBook Air, will it still play one file continuously or will I have to combine those manually?.However, if I just open VLC to play this video right there, it brings up a different screen, I click once, and it plays the entire video rather than several different files. Why does it have several VOB files? I can of course play each one of those separately and if I play each of them I see the entire video.Regardless of whether I put them in a folder on HD or directly to iCloud, should I transfer the entire Video TS folder or just the VOB files since I don't need to preserve any subtitles etc?.To save time for the moment I think I'm going to just put the videos on the Mac HD and transfer them to iCloud later as it takes longer to upload to iCloud.I've never put titles or any of that stuff so I'm not concerned about preserving anything but the straight video. I have learned thus far that it is the VOB files that actually play the video. The Video has multiple vob and ifo and bup files. When I open the DVD I have folders for Audio TS and Video TS. Anyway, I'm using the old Mac for this purpose. I have family video files on DVDs in VOB format that I'm trying to get to iCloud so I can access them on M1 MacAir that is not compatible with DVD drives including Apple's SuperDrive.
